Pathfinder Therapy

“Thank you, Adam’s Camp! You have taken a little boy with special challenges and focused on his strengths! You have used his passion for music and encouraged and enhanced his development through intensive therapies. He attempts so much more, taking risks he never would before. You have helped him get over some of his fears, and helped him learn to accept change. You have used the combined experience and wisdom of each session’s team to provide a unique week of integrated, fun therapy that is truly amazing.”

Pathfinder Therapy is an intensive, multidisciplinary therapy program for children ages 4-8 with developmental delays including, but not limited to autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.

Our signature Pathfinder Therapy program uses our unique 5-5-5 therapy model, which consists of teams of 5 pediatric therapists who work one-on-one with 5 children over 5 consecutive days.

Therapists focus on each child’s strengths to provide goal-centered, outcome-based treatment. Synergy, focus, and extensive time dedicated specifically to working on strengthening skills make this a unique and powerful intervention. Children often achieve significant developmental, functional and behavioral gains that can be further developed and sustained.

Program Highlights:

  • Full-day program over 5 consecutive days, held at YMCA of the Rockies – Snow Mountain Ranch
  • 6 hours of intensive therapy daily, based on an individualized goal-centered treatment plan
  • Each child receives one-on-one occupational, physical, speech, music and art therapy daily
  • 5 pediatric therapists and 2 volunteers work exclusively with 5 children in a team oriented environment
  • Fun activities such as canoeing, therapeutic horseback riding, swimming and an indoor climbing wall, where each child is supported by a therapist
  • Family conference at the end of week includes a clinical report with recommendations for home, school, year round therapists, pediatricians and other providers

Pathfinder Therapy is ideal for:

  • Children who can benefit from multiple treatment modalities to achieve significant developmental gains and learn new skills
  • Children who are ready to be in an intensive, one-on-one therapy setting, where every moment is a therapy moment
